If you go to this page here and scroll down a bit, you'll see some photos of my imported Metallica cds of Jump in the Fire/Creeping Death, the Japanese version of "One" with the lyrics of "Breadfan" (which was unusual enough as it is) in Japanese and English, plus the 3" cd of "One" as well.

I also have the vinyl (remember that?) ep of Candlemass' "At the Gallow's End", which must've had an incredibly short run, since I only saw in one catalog only, so I was real lucky to snap it up; it had the remade version of two songs from their debut (actually they were exactly the same, save for a guitar solo with their new guitarist and their new opera singer on vocals) and "Gallow's", which would appear on their next cd Nightfall.

I also have the Slayer Seasons in the Abyss ep, which had these skulls floating around in this red liquid that looked like blood in the cd sleeve, although it must've had a microscopic leak since it eventually dried up. Still pretty cool, though, and I only read about it in one magazine once, and if I hadn't of seen it at a record convention, I never would've known it existed.

I also have a vinyl copy of Witchfynde's Cloak and Dagger, which is supposedly worth about $100 mint (not that it's mint though). And as you can see here, I got Coroner to autograph their debut cd when I saw them in concert biggrin.gif

And I USED to have W. General's Friends of Hell silver vinyl album, but I lost that recently, due to being behind in my storage unit rent sad.gif Sucks...

So, you got any?

I also have the Creeping Death/Jump In The Fire CD, although it seems to be of pretty poor quality, as the coating on the disc has been slowly peeling off over the last 15 years. Some guy in a used CD store went into ecstasies when I asked how much he'd give me for it, but I never really had any intention of selling it... wink.gif I've got the CD of Garage Days Re-revisited (before they revisited it again on Garage Inc...) The CD guy was excited about that one too... but I'm going to hang onto it.

I should probably mention that I haven't really paid attention to Metallica in MANY, MANY years, but I have the old stuff I bought in high school.

I've got some old cassette singles of One/Breadfan and Eye Of The Beholder/The Prince (or do I have those songs reversed?) - shit, I can't remember! Those cassettes have been in a box in my garage forever...

I have an old Savatage promo CD from either the Hall or the Gutter tour...

Also have some out of print stuff by Robin Trower, Trouble, and Nomeansno. Have some imports of Judas Priest, Tygers of Pan Tang, and Max Webster. Can't remember anything else, off the top of my head...

Yeah, I don't care for Metallica much nowadays either...heard the new one went back to their old fast, longer stuff though, so I might eventually get it.

I've got the Trouble cds of three and four...saw them in concert once as well.

Fuzz- 10-09-2004
The Savatage promo CD is called Live Devastation, released in '95, but the material is at least 7 or 8 years older than that. I got it on eBay... biggrin.gif

It sounds like Trouble is getting ready to release a new album, and possibly some of the older albums will be re-released as well.

I've got " Iron Maidens' Peice of Mind picture disk(L.P.) & Queensryche E.P
signed by Geoff Tate (they came to Tower Records for Operation Mindcrime and

That's cool, I met them too when they opened for Metallica back then as well, and got photos.

Oh, well, it wasn't "someone", I had just read it somewhere.

Besides, you never know, it could still be worth a bunch to SOMEBODY: I sold a rare video game box and instructions (not the game *itself*, since an ex-friend had lost it years before) to a hardcore video game collector for eighty dollars (U. S.). And that wasn't ME ripping him off, that was his OFFER! I never would've thought it would be worth that much to anybody... biggrin.gif I'm never getting rid of that e-mail Paypal confirmation!!

Not that it matters either way (meaning if it's worth a lot or not), though: it ain't for sale biggrin.gif

The other day I picked up a Metallica promo 12" for Fade To Black in PRESTINE condition for only $20. I've been seeing those go for almost $100 on E-Bay lately. I've got a bunch of old picture discs from Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, Iron Maiden, WASP and others that I've collected over the years. So far, the most valuable items in my collection are the Sinner single and a white logo version of Motley Crue's Too Fast For Love on Leathur.

But you're right...it's not how much something is "worth", it's how much someone is willing to pay for it. A couple of years ago I sold an entire box of old BAM and Rock City News magazines on E-Bay for $30. I WAS just going to throw them in the trash, because both of those publications were free in southern California and they'd been sitting around taking up space and providing an additional fire hazard at my house. I mean...I got $30 for a box of TRASH. Hahahaha. You just never know...

I haven`t got many rare Heavy Metal records (in Black Metal, I have got MANY rare records), mostly because I buy the CD rereleases.

Some rare records are:
Breaker (Can) "In Days Of Heavy Metal
Satanic Rites "Which Way The Wind Blows"
Satanic Rites "Live To Ride"
Violent Force "Malevolent Assault Of Tomorrow"

And I have got many old Yugoslavian Heavy/ Thrash Metal LPs, which are EXTREMELY rare due to the war in the early/ mid 90`s which destroyed many of the already few existing copies (nearly all LPs were pressed in 500 copies, some even less):

Atomsko Skloniste - Extrauterina LP 82 (~20€)
Bloodbath - Traumatic Memories LP 92 (~50€, some even sell it for 150€)
Crna Udovica - Sudbina LP 87 (~80€)
Demoniac - Touch The Wind LP 92 (~100€)
Divlje Jagode - Carobnjaci LP 84 (~30€)
Divlje Jagode - Divlje Jagode LP 78 (~25€)
Divlje Jagode - Motori LP 82 (~25€)
Eclipse Of The Sun - Real Rock `N`Roller LP 88 (~40€)
Gordi - Kraljica Smrti LP 82 (~40€)
Gordi - Pakleni Trio LP 81 (~40€)
Heller - Heller LP 89 (~100€)
III Kanal - III Kanal LP 82 (~40€)
Kain - Everything Is Possible MLP 92 (~100€)
Legija - Legija LP 86 (~80€)
Orange - Madbringer LP 82 (~30€)
Osmi Putnik - Ulicna Molitva LP 86 (~50€)
Zuta Minuta - Hej Vi!!! LP 82 (~30€)

If anyone is interested in Croatian 80`s/ early 90`s Heavy/ Thrash/ Death Metal, should look at www.crometal.cjb.net . There you will find songs of Crna Udovica, Evil Blood, Dr Steel, Osmi Putnik, etc. for free download!

I have a signed picture of the Friends of Hell line up. Zeeb Phil & Hawks signed. Zeeb & Phil look quite angelic hawks looks a bruser, there is another guy who i assume is Ditchfild. Its a black an white shot. I got it from a friend of a friend who new one of their old road crew in 1987. And before anyone asks i am going to be selfish and keep it to myself not even going to send a copy as i think it may be worth a lot more in the near future. With so few pics around my quess is they did not have many taken.

I have many swedish metal records as I said, here is some of them. They are not as valuable as the NWOBHM-records.. But they are rare as hell! Swedish heavy metal-records doesen't go up to that price as the NWOBHM-records do. But the most singles (swedish metal) were pressed in 500ex or less. All of this were pressed in 500ex except Crystal Pride, 1000ex.. but a lot of them were destoyed back in the 80's, I've heard.

Zone Zero - Heavy Metal 7'' (with an original poster) worth about 80euro I think. (the poster do not come with the single when it was released, this is a promotion-poster, the only one that exists.)

Flame - No Road to Heaven 7'' worth about 40euro

Shakespeare - Orphan Devil 7'' worth about 80euro (I know were it costs 120dollars and another place were it costs 150dollar)

Stitch - Devils Deal 7" worth about 50euro

Razorblade - Run for Your Life/Ready to Fight 7" worth about 50euro

Crystal Pride - s/t (Sharon) 7'' worth about 35euro

Then I have some LP/12"/MLP's with this bands to: AXEWITCH, GOTHAM CITY, MERCY, ATC, MANINNYA BLADE, HEAVY LOAD etc.
