I went to a gaming expo in June, spent three frenzied days writing up a report to send it into a website, and four stinkin' MONTHS later...well, it's ALMOST all up; been through delays through numerous websites, it's infuriating. Well, if I ever go to another one again, things shouldn't go even
half as bad...
Right now about 40% of the dialog is up, so check it out if you want: it's at
Fatal Rewind. Click on the picture (it's from a Sega Genesis game, by the way). If java isn't automatically built into your web browser (it probably is), then make sure it's enabled. Click on the chapters; once you get down to "Things to See, Games to Play, and People to Annoy", I think that's currently the last one that's been loaded up.
Currently the only photos you can see is the one with me standing in front of the Major Havoc machine on the front page, along with this pinball game I played that came out in
1938 (yep, you read *that* right! My dad was only 11 years old when it was released!), which I submitted two photos of it to this site here:
ipdb (whups, it's not allowing me a direct link; choose the one [click on the id number] that's just called "Review", near the bottom of all the machines' listings)
Let me know what you think of it so far. Oh, and yes, the
annoying colors that
pop up here and there
every couple of sentences? Well, the guy who's working on the site hates that, so I assume (/hope) that's going to be changed when he's finished with it.
Oh yeah, I'm sure y'all will dig the handle I use for the website I wrote it for
