The guitar sound on Death Penalty, esp on "free country" is one of my favorite tones, does anybody know which equipment was used for that album?

Pardon me for jumping in as I don't know exactly but I think it was Laney Amps and Gibson SG guitar.If you seek this equipment out expecting to sound like Cope all I can say is don't get too disappointed if you don't sound the same.He's one tough act to follow.
