Think this topic ought to go here instead..sorry
Hi there, Witchfinder are back on track ay?, brilliant.
Cant wait to hear em again, anyways i was wonderin when your doin any gigs? I work at JB's helpin out lighting, shiftin gear, stage work, and such.
So i was wondering if they are playing JB's anytime? I was there at the first gig in the crown, with all the regulars many years ago..omg. If you need any info try to let me know and i'll do my best to pass on stuff. I think Sam "the boss" would love you guys to play there, even if it was just practice stage work for the shows, some big names are backing JB's even Black Label Society, Y&T, Dokken, TnT, hoards more. Derm/Phil if you wanna contact me, i only live up the road in harts Hill, Brierley Hill.
Cheers

The Bay Area (San Francisco) is going to be host to some British Legends in the next few weeks.Angel Witch will be playing a benefit gig for a fan that was involved in a freak accident. They will be playing all the classics.Hopefully Kevin Heybourne will show.
Then next we will get to see Heaven and Hell at the HP Pavilion in San Jose and actually see Ronnie James Dio and Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler.I will be drinking heavily to classics such as Neon Knights and Falling off the edge of the world.Holy Crap.

Whose next?Maybe we can get Witchfinder General to Tour here soon.Good Luck with the new recording.I know it will rock.

I will see you in about 9 days Hollow legs and Beast!!!

I just saw Heaven and Hell and DAMN they were AWESOME! Ronnie can still sing as good as ever and Tony is the most impressive on-stage-icon you can imagine... so regal. If you're close enough, watch Geezer's hands. Than man is a frikken machine! His hands are so fast. Vinnie is one of my all time favorite drummers and his work live is nothing short of powerful. It was a KILLER show.

That said, I will warn you that the house sound will be geared to complimenting Heaven and Hell's sound, so the opening acts suffer sound wise, which is a shame because Megadeth put on one hell of a performance. They have barely any stage to work with, and no props at all, so it's just their playing that will get you... but they're such incredible musicians and they played such a great set I was really blown away.

As for Down. I missed most of their set, but I will say that Phil Anselmo looks funny with floppy long straight hair.

yes,I am looking forward to the gig.Apparently Machine Head will be playing with Heaven and Hell when they reach San Jose.I think I would rather have seen Down but who really cares about either band.I will be there for Black Sabbath.

Ronnie has to have the best Live voice of any singer. The next closest is probably Bruce Dickinson for the Live performances. But he was an arse in concert last time I saw him.

Tony Martin is one hell of a singer, based on his singing abilities alone he's is nothing short of awesome, live ..again brilliant, but lacks stage presence and frontman abilities. Imho he has gone downhill since he left/pushed/kicked from the Sabbs, damn shame.

Grave Snatcher - How was Bruce bad the last time you saw him? I'd love to know.

Bruce was very rude to the crowd and cussed out the front row for the greater portion of his set.He had very little stage presence and barely no energy. It was like he didn't want to be there. He bitched about the PA system etc.

But actually Janick Gers was the most painful to watch.I can't stand the way he dances around the stage like a complete poof.It was horrendous.

Motorhead kicked ass though. wink.gif
