At first I was thinking about not putting this up, due to some people not knowing what a Vectrex is, but this is a compilation cartridge that has Vectrex versions of several classic games (which was mentioned on another thread..."Introduce yourselves", I think). If anyone doesn't know what it is, let me know, and I'll put up another link with a photo of mine. Some people will probably remember it, due to seeing and possibly playing it at a store display, but it depends on where you live in the world, since I don't think the Vectrex "officially" was released in Australia, I know they're really rare over there, and they're pretty sought after nowadays in general.
Several games that were originally made for it weren't very good, but the Vectrex is enjoying a second life nowadays, due to several people making their own games for it. The one I got (and have been having fun with since Friday) has vector graphic versions of the arcade classics of Space Invaders, Phoenix, Sega's Eliminator, Atari's Star Wars, Missile Command, Asteroids and Breakout, plus unfinished demos of Discs of Tron and Tempest...all for only twenty two bucks (U. S.)!
Make sure and read a few replies down as well, since there were a few tidbits about some of the games I forgot to comment on originally, not to mention the guy who made it will also print your name on a scrolling marquee on the title screen. Pretty good deal! (Plus you can download his stuff for free off his site anyway.)
