Witchfinder General's longest follower is another year older today 12th December.
In 1983 Nick Vrankovich wrote to the address at the bottom of the Death Penalty vinyl album (which in fact was Zeeb's old apartment) requesting information and merchandise from the band. For some reason Nick never got a reply, but after all these years and hundreds of fan mails from all over the globe his letter was found opened but still intact.
If anyone can claim to have followed the band longer and have proof we would love to hear from you.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICK (Billy) and thanks for passing on Witchfinder General to your younger brother.
See ya soon buddy, I'll down a pint of Bathams in the Robin to toast your big day. - from Phil. Ness sends her best wishes too!!! and Nikki says 'I know!'

Nick,I am eternally grateful to you for turning me on to such great music. It's awesome that we have listened to basically the same Heavy Metal Bands for all these years while our friends have turned their back to the scene.Metal has always been a way of Life for us and there's no doubt it will continue.
It's true,Nick is the longest and most dedicated Witchfinder General Fan out there bar none.He will beat anybody at Witchfinder General "name that tune".
Happy 40th Bro and promise me the following...
Please continue to uphold the Traditions of : 1)Drinking alot of Beer 2)Listening to Witchfinder General 3)Killing poseurs
Metal Regards, Gravesnatcher

Hi Beast,it was a great surprise to receive an email from Nikki and Woody this morning.I still need a Billiards rematch with Woody on American Soil(where the tables are more forgiving and I can stuff him with Appleby's )

He's not the only one.
Twenty years ago the guitar amps would have been on number 11, these days number 3 will do.

Jeez!!!What's wrong with you guys???!!
I feel as young now as I did when I was 18!!!
If the music's too loud - then you're DEFINITELY TOO OLD!!!
Nikki and Woody only went online a couple of weeks ago and I only gave her the addresses on Saturday so she'll probably mail you now too.

Thanks to all for the birthday wishes, I was in Hawaii when Russ called and read me the email from the Beast and dreadnought kid. The best birthday present I have ever received.
And while I did turn Russ onto the finest band ever he would of eventually discovered the mighty Witchfinder General because like me it is in his heart and blood.
And while Billy aint no spring chicken, I stil have the same feeling for the band as I did 24 years ago!
Thanks also to Nikki & Woody for the wishes, "Could I be more chuffed?"
Finally to Phil for hoisting a pint to me on my birthday,Cheers! Now I only have one problem, how do I get this ear to ear grin off my face?
