The Dreadnought Kid- 02-10-2007

Last night we spent boozing with an old friend and a roadie for the later part of the band Shaun Ozz' Fulton. wink.gif

Shaun who is one of the two monks on the front of Friends of Hell album cover went on to become an independant sound engineer and has toured all over the world with different artists. cool.gif

The last time we met it was that long ago, both of us had long hair. laugh.gif now we both have got more hair under our arm pits. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

On a more serious note Shaun told us that Johnny 'shirt' Olsen who the band regularly hired for the PA had passed away.
I think I can speak on behalf of all the band from the Toss and Steve days to the Rod and Derm band that he will be sadly missed. Shirt was a large guy with a big personality and was always making us laugh. I even remember Steve Kinsell and myself being his roadies for the night, 'heavy work' but we had a good time. R.I.P. sad.gif

I forgot to mention that had it not been for 'Shirt' we would not have the Live '83 album. ohmy.gif He was responsible for recording it. tongue.gif

I'm glad you can remember that night Snorkel, it's the closest I've ever come to being gassed by a human ass. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
