Guitars,amps and effects.Any idea what Phil used when he recorded Death Penalty and Friends? What is he using now? Thanks.

I am pretty sure Phil used A Gibson SG,and maybe Laney Tubes but as for effects,I think he just drank good Ale.

Sorry,what I meant to ask was did he use any overdrive pedals or just the amp distortion? Also,does anyone know what the specs on the Laneys were as far as models or any sort of modifications.Because of the era I had just assumed he was using some sort of Marshalls. Also,were the Gibson pickups stock or custom? Sorry for all the goofy questions but those two albums sounded great.
