The Dreadnought Kid- 04-24-2008

I have to apologise for the further delay of the album 'Resurrected'. Both Derm and I have recently suffered tragic losses of close family members, which has only hindered progress, soz sad.gif

We have been experiencing the other side of music, this being the business side by talking to record companies to negotiate a deal for the band unsure.gif

We are happy to say that Witchfinder General is close to clinching a deal with Russ, Nick and Yosuke as we feel they have done us proud with the two 'Live' albums, both vinyl and CD versions tongue.gif

It's not all about money, it's about passion and pride and I don't think other record companies could offer the same level of commitment as these guys have done wink.gif wink.gif wink.gif

The artwork is almost complete and the album sounds better than I ever imagined it would after a couple of return trips to the studio for tweaking. Thanks Chris cool.gif

We will keep you updated; thanks for your patience - I'm sure it will be worth the wait, hopefully not too long now! smile.gif rolleyes.gif

KEEP THE FAITH!!

Ever since I heard about a new Witchfinder General album I was excited. I don't expect you to bring about the same stuff you did in the 1980s, I expect you to bring us catharsis. ;-) Sorry to hear about personal losses. When we age though, some losses are inevitable, and some are just crazy. I lost a cousin that was only 27 years old, we used to be friends back in the 80s, never seen her after mid-90s. She died of overdose. sad.gif

Only thing to do is to dredge on and bring the work you're doing to conclusion. In art it's more important, as millions of people hang on it. In music, you owe it to the fans. In real life, you owe it to the ones that have passed on. Just go on, give all that you've got, it's the best relief.
