Was Soviet Invasion ever released digitally?

I can't tell from the discography.

Nope, but I did digitize Rabies and Soviet Invasion and put them on the website, so you at least have half of it. Mind you it's only at 128 baud, but what do you expect for free.

I saw that you liek Marillion. If you really like them and have not heard old Genesis with Peretr Gabriel on vocals, then I urge you to listen to Foxtrot by Genesis.

Genesis - Foxtrot

You can also check out Keys To Ascension Live by Yes.

Yes - Keys To Ascension Live

Yes - Fragile

Yes - Tales From Topographic Oceans

It's terribly self indulgent progressive rock, but it's darned infectious and the musicianship is second to none.

Liam,
I've tried for decades to get into Genesis to no avail. They just don't do it for me, which is real bizarre since Marillion is my absolute favorite band for close to 20 years. Marillion fans (especially Fish era) are obviously sworn Genesis fans and I understand where the influence came from, but maybe its just that I don't have the patience to try to get into that sound anymore.

One thing that I love about the Hogarth/Marillion sound, is that it's usually very current and changes with the times. 'Marbles' was a complete masterpiece. I attended 7 nights of that tour when it hit the East Coast U.S. within the past 2 years.(4 gigs with the full band, and 3 nights acoustic)

Back to the topic at hand, thanks for the heads up on the Soviet upload. I am on it pronto!

I also read that Phil is recording again which is an absolute treat! But the jury is still out whether he can rightfully call the band Witchfinder General without the vox of the individual known as 'Zeeb Parkes'. His voice was equally responsible for the legendary sound they'd created as much as Phil's guitar.

But at the very least we should be happy for Phil's return. A truly inspiring player. He was probably THE one guitarist that I really wished I'd have seen live from that entire NWOBHM cast.
