It was fifteen years ago to this day the band lost a close friend in Rob Hickman.

Had it not been for Rob we may have been called 'The Black Eyed Devils' or something worse. For it was his suggestion to name the group Witchfinder General, which is still doing us proud today.

Each time we hear the Doobie Brothers track,' Long Train Running', a silent guitar weeps.

R.I.P. Rob.

I only asked Steve last night how long Kickman had been gone! I knew it was this week but the years have flown by!!

Me and Steve used to meet up with him and have strange conversations via the back of our hands in the Kings Head!

Sorry never knew Rob Hickman but still, anybody who contibuted to the histoy of WFG deserves respect and rememberance...
