Thanks for all the support you guys have given us on the new album, it has made all the hard work we put in to it worth while.

It was never going to be easy recording an album with out the original vocalist, the main man in the band.
When we advertised for a new vocalist, guys from all over the globe answered, some just like Zeeb, some just like Ozzy, and I think that Mazz would have done a great job on Zeeb.

But I chose to try and branch away from the Zeeb sound and Gaz is the complete opposite as a vocalist. When Gaz came into the studio to do the first session, I went home thinking it would not work, it would not be Witchfinder General and I was ready to give it neck.

I gave it a wide berth for a few days and then picked up the CD again. It was then Gaz's vocals began to grow on me and now I look back and think I couldn't imagine anyone else singing those tunes. To me Gaz has an incredible voice, he never complained about any of the songs' keys, he just got on with it and blasted them out. His voice is as good live as on the recordings and I know he's not Zeeb, he is GAZ MARTIN!!!

Yes, i will second that, you know Gaz has been a diamond to us, the guy never tried to steer us away from what we were originally trying to achieve,he never once tried to tell us what to do or manipulate anything in his favour, he just got on with the job. Personally i dont think we could have found anyone better to work with and he was a good choice coming across to me as a more versatile range of vocal,thus at the same time allowing us to experiment a little trying new angles of approach. we were aware it might be risky trying something new, but then how do you move on,progress go with change, or do we stay in the same rut? anyway we have done what we intended to do, which was to put out that third album which we thought would never be and last but not least to the faithful ones who have stood by us for many years.. keep the faith...

Gaz needs to be given time. He's tremendous but naturally people got used to Zeeb and WFG have gone for a total change now. It works but some will like it, some won't. Such is life...change is good!!

That's how it is: Gaz is a good singer but we need to get used to the sound. Most of us wil get used to it, I think. I definitly like the voice.

Can I ask a silly question: what ever happened to Zeeb ?
