They say the music never ages but unfortunately the players do. Wednesday 2nd September, Rod 'Corky' Hawkes celebrated his Birthday. Rod joined the band back in 1982 when England still had a pound note. I'm not saying Rod is getting on a bit but they couldn't get enough candles to go on his cake.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY CORKS!Wednesday 9th September, Gaz Martin will celebrate his Birthday. Gaz was loaned to record Resurrected from another Stourbridge rock band 'Permission To Rock'. I'm not saying Gaz is clocking on but he was once friends with Jesus. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAZ!On a more serious note Friday 4th September Kevin 'Toss' McCready would have been 48. I hooked up with Kevin's parents a week or two ago and was shocked to hear some of the things that happened prior to his death. I can only say Toss was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet and when playing the first two singles, the bass sound never fails to beat me up.  R-I-P KEV! |
